Independent studio, Phoenix Arizona

Software and media, built small and built to last.

Whole Yield is the independent studio of Daniel Horne. It is where a handful of long-running projects live: a Bible study app, a podcast post-production service, and the audio work behind a show.

What this is

A one-person studio, not an agency and not a startup looking for a round.

Daniel builds and ships the software himself, drawing on a background in enterprise conversational AI and cloud architecture, plus years of running a small business before this one.

The work is deliberately narrow. Few projects, carried a long way, rather than many carried a little.

The name is the intent: take a thing all the way to harvest rather than abandoning it half grown.

Projects

Three things, carried a long way.

Bible study app

Manna

A Bible reading and study app built on a public-domain translation, paired with Manna Radio Theater, a dramatized audio companion that keeps the scripture text verbatim. Built so the plain text is always one tap away from anything else on the screen.

Podcast post-production

Lucentcast

Productized post-production for independent podcasters. A raw recording goes in and a release-ready episode comes back: mastered audio, a transcript, show notes, and chapter markers. The service is software end to end, with a human quality check on every delivery.

Podcast, co-hosted

Perfume(D)ecay

A podcast Daniel co-hosts with two others as equal partners. Whole Yield is not the owner of the show. It is where Daniel's side of the work lives: production, audio tooling, and post.
